Tales From The Waterhole

This delightful series of illustrated childrens’ books features stories of the African bush, as recounted by an old terrapin, who likes to bask in the sun on the bank, or float in the water, with just his eyes and nose sticking out. Usually he is not noticed, but he hears everything that is said at the waterhole. Each book has a bit of a moral to the story and features a checklist to help identify African animals that young readers might encounter.
